Meet Dr. Janie French: Medical Science Liaison at HealthTrackRx
As a Medical Science Liaison at HealthTrackRx, Dr. Janie French works to educate clinicians, helping healthcare providers better understand how to leverage molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases. This work includes examining strategies for integrating molecular diagnostics into their practice and utilizing smaller menus to support diagnostic stewardship goals. She believes that improved patient care and reduced antibiotic use starts with appropriate diagnostic testing.
Dr. Janie French earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh. Her work has examined HIV cure strategies, influenza A virus transmission, and respiratory co-infections. She is an author on seven peer-reviewed publications in journals including PLOS Pathogens and Nature Communications.
