A longtime member of the HealthTrackRx family, Ross MacDowall has been a dedicated part of our team for the past 8 years. Ross’s journey with HealthTrackRx began as a Territory Service Specialist, and he has since risen to the role of Regional Sales Leader, showcasing his dedication and expertise at every step of his career.

Ross’s day-to-day involves selling our services to providers, managing his current clients’ accounts, and troubleshooting IT and logistics issues when necessary to ensure our operations run smoothly. As the Houston North lead, he collaborates closely with other colleagues in the metroplex, interviews potential new sales reps, and supports the growth of the Territory Service Specialists and Territory Sales Directors that he works with.

Originally a molecular scientist by training, Ross transitioned into medical sales, drawn by the autonomy and the dynamic environment it offers. His work at HealthTrackRx has positively influenced his personal life. The hard work ethic and compassion needed to be successful in his role has made him a better husband as well as a better father to his three kids.

Ross is a two-time Presidents Club winner and has managed one of the top territories in the company for years. He takes great pride in growing his team and contributing to their collective success. His motivation comes from his family and his grandfather’s influence. His grandfather taught him at a young age that he needed to be his own advocate and that you can do great things in life if you keep your head down and take it one step at a time.

Outside of work, Ross is a man of many passions. He owns a ranch outside of Houston, where he breeds longhorn cattle and quarter horses. He personally trains and breaks all his horses, a task he dedicates twice a week for a month until they’re fully rideable. In addition to his ranching, Ross is also a skilled poker player, having been a finalist in the 2023 WSOP Main Event Poker Tournament!
