In the wake of COVID-19, HealthTrackRx experts recognized the urgent need to address a growing global threat: Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
A losing battle, antibiotics were being misused and over-used by prescribers who could not get test results fast enough—leading to ineffective treatment and resistance to mainstream antibiotics.
While PCR technology has been around for decades, it was never applied to infectious disease management in this manner. In partnering with UPS Healthcare® for a pilot project in 2022, HealthTrackRx developed a strategy to deliver overnight test results to patients—getting people healthier faster all over America. The response was overwhelming.
Today, together with UPS Healthcare®, HealthTrackRx has transformed how tens of thousands of providers diagnose and treat infections—stopping patients from taking unneeded prescriptions—and thus improving patient outcomes across the country.
