Among the many great talents at HealthTrackRx, Vinny Hughes stands out for his dedication and excellence. His journey is one of perseverance, growth, and commitment to our mission of Getting People Healthier Faster.

Before joining HealthTrackRx ten years ago, Vinny had already proven himself to be someone who knew what perseverance was. He went from a high-school dropout to putting himself through college all by himself, taking classes during the day and working nights. Sometime after graduating, this time of personal growth and gaining a real work ethic would soon pay big dividends as he embarked on the next step of his career journey by joining HealthTrackRx as the 13th employee. Starting as a lab tech, Vinny’s role has evolved over the years, encompassing mechanical maintenance and supervisory roles, ultimately leading to his current position as director of real estate and facilities.

With a decade of experience and a knack for transforming empty spaces into state-of-the-art laboratories, Vinny’s typical day involves ensuring the smooth operation of every facility, orchestrating their setup, and leading his team. His work is not just about managing properties; it’s about creating the physical environment that empowers our teams to deliver exceptional healthcare solutions.

Leading a team of dedicated individuals, Vinny ensures that his team members enjoy their roles and thrive personally and professionally. By promoting autonomy and providing unconditional support, Vinny fosters a culture of growth and excellence within his team.

While reflecting on his journey, Vinny recalls being drawn to HealthTrackRx in May 2014, seizing the chance to make a difference. Over the years, the company has provided opportunities for professional growth and played a pivotal role in shaping personal development and instilling self-awareness and empathy. Among his proudest achievements are the significant contributions he and his team have made to HealthTrackRx’s expansion by adding three new labs under his tenure.

Outside of his official role, Vinny’s commitment to making a positive impact extends to the communities HealthTrackRx is a part of. His involvement with multiple Children’s Advocacy Center chapters across the US is a testament to his dedication. As our liaison to the non-profit, he is at the forefront of addressing the ongoing issue of abused children needing support throughout the legal process. When a child needs representation or help through the local Children’s Advocacy Center in Denton, TX, Vinny is always ready to step up.

When he’s not busy with his work, you’ll likely find Vinny indulging in his passion for BBQ competitions, where he showcases his skills in crafting mouthwatering brisket and ribs.
